I have a real passion for my profession and my work. I established Find You...Be You in 2006 and the Service has continued to develop and grow based on providing a professional, informed and ethical service - with the client at the heart of its work.
I have had a varied background as a police officer, teacher and as a PR Director working with blue chip companies and establishing my own PR business. After undertaking several years of training I qualified as a therapist and I have continued to develop my skills and qualifications - including recently becoming an Associate of the Royal Society of Medicine and being awarded the The Children's Leading Specialist UK by Global Media and Pharmaceuticals UK.

Counsellor Trainer
Caitriona Carroll
My background is in housing and disability issues. I spent many years working with and representing various client groups and I was on the committees of several charities. Over the years, working with a wide variety of people, at all levels, I came to appreciate the value and importance of counselling and therapy. My work with clients showed me the importance of having a space to speak and, more importantly, to be heard and listened to. Consequently my move into counselling and therapy was a natural progression. I have had 4 years of psychotherapy training and continue my learning and professional development.
I have MS which, as a disabled woman, coupled with my experience working with diverse clients, gives me an insight to the many challenges people face.
The client is paramount and at the core of my work. Together we will build a strong working relationship, which is the single most important aspect of successful therapeutic work.
Sometimes you can become stuck in a place where you don’t want to be, or feel overwhelmed by the pressures of home, peers, grief, anxiety, or life in general. Together, we can work through these, and other, issues you may have which are troubling you, and we will work towards a deeper understanding and finding ways forward that work for you. The focus is on you, your well-being, building your inner resources and strengths.
I work with adults and young people (16 years upwards).
I offer a confidential, safe, supportive and calm environment where we can work together. However, at the moment because of the pandemic I see clients electronically by video-link such as Zoom or by phone.

There will be an initial consultation, this may be with an individual or an employer seeking coaching services. The consultation will establish need and whether coaching is an appropriate approach.
The working relationship in coaching is important. Where coaching is agreed to be the appropriate approach, an initial 5 session contract will be offered. A review will take place in session 4. This will allow for a planned ending or establishing the focus of potential future coaching support.
Where the contract is initiated by an employer further coaching work will rest with and be shared with the employer and coachee.
I work with people seeking to work on particular areas of their personal and professional development. This can include:
- loss of focus, their “spark”
- working relationships
- self-confidence and personal/professional resilience
- career development
- time management
I am primarily based in Kent (and south east London). Consultations and sessions are available via secure web based platforms.
Initial consultation (90 minutes) – £75
Contracted sessions (60 minutes) – £40
Employer report – £100 to £150
(If a session is cancelled 48 hours notice must be given to avoid being charged the full fee)

Julia Chandler
I am an integrative counsellor but first and foremost, I am a warm and caring person with a passion for counselling and its benefits to mental health having undergone my own counselling journey in 2009.
What is fundamental to how I work is the relationship that I build with my client. As that therapeutic relationship begins to develop the client feels safe, secure and held. This enables the client to express what they need.
I will always work at the client’s pace as I am predominantly Person Centred in my approach. Although I will use other areas as well, such as Psychodynamic and CBT. What the client brings to the session is what we will focus on. Sometimes a client has a specific goal in mind and we can work together towards this if this is something you would like.
I love to work creatively in counselling, using stones, buttons, cards, drawing, painting and anything the client would like to have a go at. Expression through creativity is a wonderful tool to have in your toolbox. Talent in any area is not required!
Sessions last for 50 minutes and sessions would be once weekly unless we have arranged otherwise. We would begin with an initial free phone call to establish what has led you to look for support and to see whether you feel I am the right counsellor for you.
I work mostly with children and young people and with young adults although I am qualified to work with adults as well. I would welcome either.
I work 2 days a week for a children’s counselling charity.
I work face to face in a quiet, comfortable office in central Tunbridge Wells (near to Creams)
I also work online.
Please get in touch by email or by text message/Whatsapp and we can arrange our phone consultation.
I charge £50 per session and operate a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Louise Hales
I retrained to be a counsellor in 2013 as I felt drawn to work with people in a helping capacity. I currently work in private practice having had previous experience of working as a counsellor in an agency setting.
I also work as a mentor for university students who are in receipt of a DSA (disability student allowance), this work heavily draws on my counselling background. I have also worked as a tutor delivering training to counselling students training towards their CPCAB Level 3 certificate in counselling skills and as a Level 4 diploma counselling skills tutor.
Having a background of working within a corporate environment spanning 30 years, based in the City of London, I have extensive experience of working with a diverse range of people, all of whom have come from different backgrounds, cultures and faiths, with different temperaments and expectations.
All my previous experiences have highlighted just how unique each and every one of us is, which is the aspect of counselling I enjoy the most. My hope is to get to know you and use our relationship to together find your best way forwards.
I am a Person Centered Counsellor working in a non-directive way. This means you are free to use your session to explore whatever aspect of life is important to you; such as relationship difficulties, bereavement, job-loss or perhaps you just would like to get to know yourself a little better. The person centered approach allows us to work together at a pace that suits you in a non-judgmental, safe and confidential environment. I offer open ended counselling with regular collaborative reviews. I am a registered member of the BACP and work to their ethical framework, ensuring high standards and evidence based practice.
